Day 1
Kananaskis
Welcome to Calgary, on arrival you are transferred to Kananaskis. Join your Travel Director and fellow travellers for a Welcome Dinner.
Day 2-3
Jasper
Travel the Columbia Icefield Parkway, a 232-kilometre route through the Canadian Rockies, recognised as one of the world’s most scenic drives. Pass turquoise lakes, sheer cliffs and the Columbia Icefield, North America’s largest south of the Arctic. Arriving in Jasper National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Dark Sky Preserve, spend your afternoon exploring pristine wilderness or admiring alpine serenity. Begin your day with a scenic cruise on Malingne Lake (weather permitting) and stop at Spirit Island, one of the most photographed sites in the Canadian Rockies, it’s truly a picture-perfect moment.
Day 4
Icefields Parkway
Start your day at the breatking natural wonder of Athabasca Falls before your journey continues along the stunning Icefields Parkway, one of the most beautiful drives on the planet. Later, a warm welcome greets you at the country’s first and only glacier-view resort, where you will savour a Canadian inspired, locally sourced dinner. After dinner take advantage of the long daylight hours and set out for a private visit to the Columbia Icefield Skywalk, a glass-floored walkway above the Sunwapta Valley.
Day 5-7
Banff
Start the morning with a truly special experience, before other travellers arrive, as you venture onto the Athabasca Glacier on the Ice Explorer. After explore Yoho National Park, known for its stunning waterfalls and dramatic landscapes. The next day make your way to Moraine Lake for a photo stop before lunch at Chateau Lake Louise, Connect with nature as you join a First Nations Cree Iroquois Local Expert on a guided walk in the Boreal forest and discover the Indigenous world of plant medicines. Absorb the First Nations culture as you learn about the historical and modern day uses of plants and listen to fascinating stories. Later choose from a range of optional experiences available to make the most out of your day. This evening, toast the end of your journey with your Travel Director and fellow travellers over dinner to celebrate the insights experienced along the way.
Day 8
Fly Home
After breakfast you are transferred to Calgary Airport where your journey comes to an end, until the next time.
