Lake Louise Holidays
Lake Louise is a picture-perfect glacial lake known as the crown jewel of Banff National Park. It is one of the most-photographed lakes in Canada, and still a picture cannot do enough justice to the incredible beauty of the lake when seen through your own eyes. With magical turquoise waters set amongst snow-capped mountain peaks above, it comes as no surprise why Lake Louise holidays are so popular amongst travellers from around the world. It is an outdoor lovers’ paradise year-round. Enjoy hiking, canoeing and horseback riding in the summer with the most jaw-dropping scenery of the Canadian Rockies around you, and skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating, and romantic sleigh rides in the winter. Lake Louise Ski resort is part of the Ski Big 3 resorts and apart from being a top ski destination, it offers the longest ski season in Canada.

Best time to visit Lake Louise
Lake Louise is located in Banff National Park, and it has a subarctic climate with cold, snowy winters and mild summers. It has been said that the most reliable characteristic of Banff and Lake Louise’s weather is it's unpredictability.
In the Summer (July-September) you can expect warm and sunny weather with the warmest month being July (average highs of 22°C).
Autumn arrives in October and by the middle of the month you can start seeing frost on the ground and snow starting to cover the mountain peaks.
Winter (January-March) is when the peaks and ski hills around Lake Louise and Banff receive large amounts of snow.
In Spring (April-June) you can expect to enjoy summertime temperatures during the day, but there is still a good amount of snow lingering on the ground.
